It has been the best car I have ever owned (previously owned a 69 Corvette, a Toyota MR2, and Jeep CJ5). The Alfa Romeo Spider is the most reliable car. It is also incredibly easy to work on. It has surpassed all of my expectations, and continues to be an incredibly reliable and fun car to drive.

wjwh. Looking at used 80s Alfa Romeo Spyders. Posters say the cars are reliable and don't need repairs. But some friends claim they are daily fixers instead. Need some honest opinions. Love the look of the car but don't want to spend 5k and then have to shell out another 3 or 4 k within a year. Thanks!
