Consumer Reports says the 2019 Ford Fiesta is a rare example of a subcompact car that feels solid and substantial, with good owner satisfaction scores. Edmunds rates the Fiesta at 4.2/5, enjoying the well-appointed interior , but doesn’t like the limited cargo room in the trunk .
I know they’re FWD, but they’re also much cheaper than the other options I mentioned. So I was looking at some used models on Autotrader, but I’m not sure which one to choose. 2014 Fiesta ST - 80,111 mi $9,995. 2017 Fiesta ST - 62,482 mi $12,994. 2013 Civic SI - 78,159 mi $13,999. 2014 Fiesta ST - 41,893 mi $14,991.
You're confusing quality with reliability. Ford overall probably makes better cars than Toyota (better interior, handling, engines, NVH), but Toyota makes more reliable cars. You don't care about long-term reliability when renting a car, so you always take the best car available, not the most reliable one.
I found a decked out Spark for $16,000 (with a 10 year (100K) powertrain and a 36,000 bumper to bumper, and a 7 year interior and paint) and a Fiesta for $15,000. Apparently GM doesn't lease Sparks and the dealership said Fords weren't good for leasing. I hear all kinds of things about how Ford isn't good, so I really just want some honest

The Fiesta ST and the 1 series both occupy rather different markets, both different segment cars. The 1 series being a fair bit bigger, larger, heavier. Also more powerful. If you want a modern day light hot hatchback, then you wouldn't compare both cars. The Fiesta does that better because that's not what the 1 series is trying to be.
hrQA1BG. Front end looks good up close, as too does the interior. Not a fan of full LCD dashboards in any car honestly, nor big infotainment screens. Physical needles only, or LED displays in some cases. That's why I'm fond of my 2014. Needles for rpm and speed, little led matrix display for trip, fuel and temp. Nice n simple, not cluttered.
Everyone dismisses it as just another low power boring standard ford fiesta, and trying to explain how awesome they are to a non car person is futile. 4)Stright line performance obviously is good but is easily out done by alot of other cars including your average german family car.
These were $23,000 cars new. And the Fiesta ST is not a car driven lightly by prior owners. Losing half its value in 8 years after being flogged to within an inch of its life and used as a winter beater in the rust belt is generous. ms2102.
I am emailing Ford this: My 2013 Ford Fiesta has severe issues. The car often jerks forward when I hit the gas (even lightly). It's frightening and I fear for my safety and the safety of those in my vehicle. Also, I hear a scraping/clunking/shudder noise when the car switches gears. I've been reading online that these are common issues which is
Thanks for your input :) San_Fran_Dan • 5 yr. ago. No. No no no. The Fiesta is the least reliable car made by Ford, and the DCT auto is extraordinarily unreliable. The Fit, conversely, is one of the most reliable cars on the road. I have a 2011 Fiesta. How I wish I had a 2009 Fit instead. skumbagsynth • 5 yr. ago.
