It took some time to get used to. I bought the pro controller because I heard people say it was better, I upgraded to a white oled from a v1 switch and REALLY did not want to deal with more joycon drift.. and even though I have GameStop warranty AND technically Nintendo warranty, I donât want to deal with those joycons going bad.

The Nintendo Switch V2 is a direct upgrade over the V1, so thereâs no real contest there unless you can find a V1 at a significantly reduced price. Meanwhile, if youâre willing to spend a bit more, the OLED version throws in a much better display and extra internal memory.
Better battery life, not having to inject payloadsâĶ itâs just better. If youâre going to buy a pre-modded v2 you might as well save up and get a modded OLED. The only time Iâd recommend modding a v2 or lite is if you already have one. Having to reinject for the v1 is not a big issue if you plan around it.
To be fair, both numbers are perfectly in line with Nintendoâs estimates, which peg both the base Switch and the Switch OLED at 4.5 to 9 hours of battery life. It also lines up with our
Best minimal storage. The Samsung microSDHC EVO Select boasts read speeds of up to 95MB/sec. This listing also includes an SD adapter, which is useful on older computers. This card is great if you want a little extra storage just in case and aren't planning on installing many games from the Nintendo eShop.
zQ5iXI. Don't listen to the person above all V2 switches are patched and none are unpatched. Nintendo started patching at the end of production line of V1 so even some V1 switches are patched. Double check you typed it into the website correctly as loads of people did this and say it's unpatched.
Sell your OG switch to get a little back (maybe $100-150) then get the new model. If you plan on playing handheld a lot it's totally worth it, it's got better battery life than the switch lite. Yeah, I have an original Switch and lose about 30% battery life per hour in handheld with the Witcher, give or take.
Here's the video. She swapped her V2 motherboard into her V1 console. Apparently from what she mentioned in the video, all performance upgrades are because of changes in the motherboard BUT the LCD screens are made by a different manufacturer. They suck so people, including herself, have been swapping their V2 motherboards into V1 consoles.
I have a couple of questions about replacing my switch battery. The battery of the v1 and v2 Switch are the same according to the mAh (both have 4,310mAh). Then why is the v2 battery lasting longer than the v1? Is it just the battery itself or does have the v2 Switch some minor hardware improvements too, which leads to a better battery life?
You ain't going to get a battery life improvement with V1 motherboard swap on to a V2 battery, it has to do with the CPU on V2 motherboard. Swapping a brand new battery will absolutely improve battery life. It is a brand new battery on its first cycle vs. and old one at the end of its life I want good parts on an older switch like a new fan.
is my switch v1 or v2
