Combat is solidt as well as the stealth, however the story isn't as impressive as for example the Witcher 3, but it's by no means bad. Something not many people talk about is how amazing the movement feels, if you wanna jump Assassin’s Creed Origins is the revitalisation I was desperately hoping for. My cautious optimism has been rewarded by an excellent open-world adventure that could lead to an exciting future for The director’s cut offers a little more variety, so the game is a bit less repetitive, so that one is worth it. Assassin’s Creed II and Brotherhood are worth it. Assassin’s Creed III Remastered is worth it, because there are a few gameplay improvements and you get Liberation with it. Unity with the dead kings DLC is worth it. Did a play through of all the games from 1 to syndicate. Bought some. Cracked some. Did all of them a 100%. Took a break and played The Witcher 3. They are both good pickups although Origins can be found as a complete edition cheaper. I actually prefer Odyssey though which brings me to the real point. Egypt - Origins. Odyssey - Greece. Valhalla - England. Choose you preferred setting and time period. I loved the Greek Isles in Odyssey. The game is huge, and not always in a good way. Odyssey seems to drag on for a while, but the world is pretty enough. The story is decent, some of the characters are truly memorable. I’d say it’s a decent enough game for $17. I wouldn’t expect a hardcore Assassin’s Creed game, expect more of an RPG game than anything else DfspZ. It’s going to take you a while to explore everything if that’s what you plan to do. Ubisoft Montreal is behind the development of Origins, they worked with historians and experts on Egypt to get the art and atmosphere down. Personally, I think they did an excellent job.
